A member must select if they want to enter into earning Qantas Points or Velocity Points at the time of entering into the Facility Agreement. Membership of the Reward Scheme is not a default benefit of having an Octet facility. Qantas Points and Velocity Points will not be awarded for a facility agreement which has been terminated.

A business must be a Qantas Business Rewards Member to earn Qantas Points for business. A one-off join fee of $89.50 usually applies, however this will be waived for Octet customers. Fees are inclusive of any applicable GST and may be varied by Qantas from time to time, without notice, in its absolute discretion. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions. Qantas Points for business are offered under Octet Finance Pty Ltd’s Terms and Conditions. Any claims in relation to Qantas Points under this offer must be made directly to Octet Finance Pty Ltd by speaking to your account manager. Qantas Points will be credited to the Members’ Business Rewards account within 14 days after the end of the month in which Octet has received the amount receipted. Available to Octet members only and subject to the minimum spend thresholds as individually advised by Octet.

To be eligible to earn Velocity Points for your business you must be a current Virgin Australia Business Flyer.

member. “Member” means any person who holds a valid ABN and whose application for membership of the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program has been accepted and whose membership has not been closed, cancelled or terminated in accordance with the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program Terms & Conditions. Virgin Australia Business Flyer Membership and Points earn are subject to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer and Velocity Frequent Flyer membership Terms and Conditions (as applicable), and any changes to Member benefits and features will be governed by those terms and conditions. It is the business’s responsibility to sign up as a Member (if it is not a current Member). Velocity collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and Virgin Australia Business Flyer collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Members will earn Qantas Points or Velocity Points for the amounts repaid during the month on or before the due date. When the amount repaid during a 12-month period is less than the individually agreed threshold, the Member will be entitled to 1 Qantas Point or 1 Velocity Point for each $10 repaid. When the amount repaid during a 12-month period is greater than twice the individually agreed threshold, the Member will, during the balance of the 12-month period, be entitled to earning 3 Qantas Points or Velocity Points for each $10 repaid. This reset every year.

Selected accountants, brokers, business advisors and consultants of Octet Finance Pty Limited (Referral Partners) may be eligible to earn Qantas Points or  Velocity Points for the Referral Partner’s business and/or receive 1 complimentary 1 year Gold or Platinum Velocity Status or 1-year Qantas Club Membership if they successfully refer [new business deals] to Octet Finance Pty Limited (Octet) and those business clients settle an eligible finance deal.

Qantas Points or Velocity Points are allocated pro-rata, according to the value of Octet Trade or Debtor Finance facility limits settled. For example, if a broker settles a client into a facility of $1.5m, they will be eligible for a pro-rata amount according to the ratio distribution of 0.125 points. This means that the broker would receive a total of 187,500 points. By the same token, if a broker settled $1.9m in limits, then 237,500 points would be allocated to their business. Qantas Points or Velocity Points are allocated out on a quarterly basis. Available to Octet members only and subject to the minimum spend thresholds as individually advised by Octet. Qantas Points or Velocity Points will not be awarded for a facility agreement which has been terminated. 

To be eligible to receive Qantas Points or Velocity Points and/or Gold or Platinum Velocity Status under this offer, the Referral Partner must be (or become) a Qantas Business Rewards or Virgin Australia Business Flyer member and nominate an individual employed by the Referral Partner (who must be (or become) a Velocity Frequent Flyer member) at the time of settling the eligible finance deals. The relevant membership numbers must be provided to Octet upon request (failure to do so means that the relevant Velocity Points and/or Status cannot be awarded).

The recipient of each complimentary Status membership cannot be changed or transferred to another natural person during a membership year (i.e. any 12-month period commencing on the first day the Velocity Platinum Status Membership has been awarded). Whether the recipient qualifies for Status after the complimentary 1 year will be assessed in accordance with the Velocity Frequent Flyer membership terms and conditions. Flyer membership Terms and Conditions (as applicable). It is the Referral Partner’s responsibility to sign up as a Virgin Australia Business Flyer and/or Velocity Frequent Flyer member (if it is not already a member of these programs). The complimentary 1-year Velocity Gold or Platinum Status membership is only available once for any Referral Partner. The recipient of each complimentary Status membership cannot be changed or transferred to another natural person during a membership year (i.e. any 12-month period commencing on the first day the Velocity Platinum Status Membership has been awarded). Whether the recipient qualifies for Status after the complimentary 1 year will be assessed in accordance with the Velocity Frequent Flyer membership terms and conditions.

Velocity Points for the relevant Referral Partner are offered under these Offer Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time). Velocity Points will be credited to the Referral Partner’s Virgin Australia Business Flyer account within 14 days after the end of the month in which Octet has received the amount receipted.

To receive a 1-year Qantas Club Membership you must transfer Points from a Qantas Business Rewards Account to a current individual Qantas Frequent Flyer Account (must have a balance of at least 3,000 Qantas Points). Membership and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.
