An ABN is required to join and receive rewards points from Qantas Business Rewards or Virgin Australia Business Flyer.

To receive a Velocity Gold or Platinum membership, Velocity Frequent Flyer membership is required. To receive a 1-year Qantas Club membership, Qantas Club Membership is required and you must transfer Points from a Qantas Business Rewards Account to a current individual Qantas Frequent Flyer Account (must have a balance of at least 3,000 Qantas Points). The recipient must first purchase the membership themselves upfront to be reimbursed by Octet. If the recipient is already a member, Octet will reimburse the renewal cost – not provide a full membership.

A business must be a Qantas Business Rewards Member to earn Qantas Points for business. A one-off join fee of $89.50 usually applies, however this will be waived for Octet customers. Fees are inclusive of any applicable GST and may be varied by Qantas from time to time, without notice, in its absolute discretion. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions. Qantas Points for business are offered under Octet Finance Pty Ltd’s Terms and Conditions. Any claims in relation to Qantas Points under this offer must be made directly to Octet Finance Pty Ltd by speaking to your account manager. Qantas Points will be credited to the Members’ Business Rewards Account within 14 days after the end of the month in which Octet has received the amount receipted.

Qantas Business Rewards Members can earn 0.125 Qantas Points per $1 dollar financed, based on the total value of the initial facility limits for Octet Trade or Debtor Finance settled. Qantas Points will be awarded to the eligible Qantas Business Rewards Account within 90 days of settlement. For the avoidance of doubt, Referral Partners will not earn Qantas Points on limit increases.

Available to Octet members only and subject to the agreed spend thresholds as individually advised by Octet and the eligible customer. Qantas Points may not be awarded for a referred facility agreement which has been terminated by Octet in accordance with relevant terms and conditions of that facility agreement.

^To be reimbursed for a 1-year Qantas Club membership through Octet’s Referral Partner Program, the referred client must be successfully settled into an Octet Trade or Debtor Finance facility within 12 months.The membership must be purchased independently. Octet will reimburse the full amount based on Qantas Club pricing as at 29 July 2025 – $699 for the annual membership, plus a one-off $129 joining fee for new members. If you are an existing Qantas Club member, Octet will reimburse the cost of your renewal. Reimbursement will be made to your nominated bank account upon receipt of valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt), submitted via email, once the above eligibility criteria have been met. We recommend consulting your accountant or tax adviser to understand any potential tax implications, such as Fringe Benefits Tax (if applicable). ² Velocity Terms & Conditions
From 01 June 2025 (Offer Period), selected accountants, brokers, business advisors and consultants of Octet Finance Pty Limited (Referral Partners) may be eligible to earn Velocity Points for the Referral Partner’s business and/or receive 1 complimentary 1 year Gold or Platinum Velocity Status if they successfully refer [new business deals] to Octet Finance Pty Limited (Octet) and those business clients settle an eligible finance deal as follows (unless otherwise stated):
- For settled finance deals with a total value between A$500,000 and A$1M: up to a maximum of 125,000 Velocity Points
- For settled finance deals with a total value between A$1m+ and A$3M: up to a maximum of 375,000 Velocity Points and 1 complimentary 1 year Gold Velocity Status
- For settled finance deal with a total value over $3M+: unlimited Velocity Points and 1 complimentary 1 year Platinum Status
For settled finance deals with a total value between A$500k and $3M, the Velocity Points are allocated on a pro-rata basis according to the total value of Octet Trade or Debtor Finance facility limits settled during the Offer Period. For example, if a Referral Partner settles a client into a facility of $1.5m, they will be eligible for a pro-rata amount according to the ratio distribution of 0.125 points. This means that the Referral Partner would receive a total of 187,500 points. By the same token, if a Referral Partner settled $1.9m, then 237,500 points would be allocated to their business. Velocity Points are allocated on a monthly basis. This offer is only available to Referral Partners and subject to the minimum spend thresholds as individually advised by Octet. Velocity Points will not be awarded for a facility agreement which has been terminated at the sole discretion of Octet.

The Referral Partner has the option to choose from either earning Velocity Points and, if eligible, a Gold or Platinum Velocity Status, or points earn and status in another program (i.e. the points earn and status cannot be combined across different programs). To be eligible to receive Velocity Points and/or Gold or Platinum Velocity Status under this offer, the Referral Partner must be (or become) a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member and nominate an individual employed by the Referral Partner (who must be (or become) a Velocity Frequent Flyer member) at the time of settling the eligible finance deals. The relevant membership numbers must be provided to Octet upon request (failure to do so means that the relevant Velocity Points and/or Status cannot be awarded).

Virgin Australia Business Flyer Membership and Points earn and Velocity Status membership are subject to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer and Velocity Frequent Velocity Frequent Flyer membership Terms and Conditions (as applicable). It is the Referral Partner’s responsibility to sign up as a Virgin Australia Business Flyer and/or Velocity Frequent Flyer member (if it is not already a member of these programs). Do you pay a brokerage fee if I refer clients?

Yes. We have a highly valued introducer incentive program for our Referral Partners. This includes generous upfront introduction fees and trail commissions for the life of the facility once transactions are referred and settled.
Can my clients access multiple products at once?

Yes. We make it simple through our secure payments platform, allowing them to choose their preferred funding source for each transaction. We can also combine our products in various ways to give your clients the best access to cash flow for their businesses.
